Our story
Two paths, one thread
Where it began
A cousin's Lohri, a bonfire, and one very determined game of antakshari that neither of us would concede. We laughed until the embers went quiet.
Where it led
Three winters of long calls, shared playlists and Sunday langar seva later, our families sat down over chai — and agreed with a smile what we already knew.
And on 14 February 2027
the thread becomes one.

Cover your head
Everyone covers their head inside the Gurdwara. Scarves are usually available at the entrance.
Shoes off, hands washed
Shoes are left at the shoe stand, and hands are washed before entering the prayer hall.
Comfortable, modest attire
Wear something modest that lets you sit cross-legged on the carpet with ease.
Seated together on the floor
Guests sit on the carpet in the Darbar hall. Please avoid pointing your feet towards the Guru Granth Sahib.
Photography
Please follow the Gurdwara's guidance and our photographer's lead during the ceremony.
Langar
Afterwards, everyone is welcome to share langar, the free community meal, usually served seated.
Alcohol & tobacco
Please do not bring alcohol or tobacco onto the Gurdwara premises.
Customs differ from Gurdwara to Gurdwara — our families will happily help with anything on the day.
