Our Story
Grace joined the parish choir on a rainy Lenten evening — Nathaniel was at the organ, filling the empty nave with Bach. She missed her cue twice; he smiled without turning from the keys, and she knew she would never again sing quite the same way.
For three seasons they rehearsed side by side — Advent carols, Easter alleluias, the quiet hymns of ordinary Sundays. Between verses they traded coffee on the church steps and learned each other's favourite psalms.
On a feast-day morning, as sunlight poured through the clerestory and the bells began their call, Nathaniel asked Grace to make a duet of their lives. She said yes before the last peal faded over the Mandovi.
