How it began
Our Story
Our families had celebrated Janmashtami on the same lane in Vrindavan for thirty years, and for most of them we managed never to speak. That changed at a cousin's wedding, when the power went out during the sangeet and the only two people who knew the words to the old rasiya kept singing in the dark.
Then came Delhi and Pune, a hundred late-night calls, a great many train tickets to Mathura, and a family group chat that knew everything before we did.
Last Sharad Purnima, on the steps of Keshi Ghat, with the moon on the water, Vihaan asked. Ananya said yes before he could finish the question.
Now, with the blessings of Shri Radha Krishna and of all of you, we begin our life together where it began: under the same full moon.
